Welcome!
Some of you may know me from my very random and all-over-the-map blog; The Darling Miss G but I felt like I needed a bit of a facelift, if you will. So I decided to start a new health and wellness blog; Live Well with Miss G! Thanks to my Sis for helping me with the name. :) 
This blog will focus more on hot topics such as eating clean {and as meatless as possible!}, fitness, wellness and personal posts about my own health and wellness journey peppered throughout. 

A Little Bit About Me? 
I reign from a quaint little city called Guelph before eagerly packing up and moving the crazy half hour {LOL} to Cambridge, Ontario!
I used to live a terribly unhealthy lifestyle the majority of my 20's with no exercise, a tun of processed food, and a little more than too much partying which all contributed to my high anxiety, low self-esteem, borderline depression and finally a 50lb weight gain that threw me into a hellish black hole of negativity and virtually no confidence.

There NEEDED to be a change!
It took me a while to reach deep down and ignore the "you can'ts", and "you shouldn'ts" and even the "you suck! you don't deserve happiness!!" and enrolled in a holistic nutrition course, a new job at the time and what ended up being a 50lb weight loss journey. 
I am not perfect and still struggle, hit walls and am guilty {still!} of negative self talk. But this is life! And a work in progress. 


But I also wanted to start this blog to help others like myself kick start their own health and wellness journey's. Not necessarily weight loss...losing weight and feeling great is just one of the benefits. :) 
It's a blog for the 'self-starter lady' - the one that has no idea which road to take or direction to even go. I won't tell you what path to embark on, that would be too easy, but I can give you tips and tricks to help you make the best decision for YOU. 
This blog will have posts on food, recipes, lifestyle changes, how to grow spiritually, how to kick butt in the gym or at home...we are going to take a kickass holistic approach! 
There is no one size fits all and never was! Okay..maybe when it comes to certain hosery...there might be...lol!
But, different strokes for different folks and don't let anyone tell you otherwise! 
You gotta do what's right for YOU - and you only. 
Make sure to leave comments or suggestions as well on what you'd like to see or read! :) I promise I'll try and not be too long-winded in my posts and will also sprinkle throughout my own random ramblings. :)
